This past Saturday I finally took the time to check out the newly opened Scout on Roncesvalles Ave. Super cute shit, you guys.
I (my Mom) bought this change purse. I am such a sucker for Canadiana 1970s-esque nostalgia blahblah. (see: 1974-1986 CBC logo, Hudson’s Bay Company point blankets, coats, etc, um, RUSH).

I like that in the about section of the website, owner Leah Eyles counts the One of a Kind Show - essentially a gigantic craft show for nerds, grannies and my stepdad- as one of the main influences for opening up her own shop. Also, Leah herself is super cute. Also, her last name sounds like Celtic fairy language. Also, when my Mom and I came by she was eating (what smelled like) delicious soup right at the till! Girls gotta eat, yo! Respect!
I wanted to buy pretty much everything my eyes darted to, particularly the whimsical, pretty flasks which had everything to (I forget) to (I forget) printed on them. I JUST REMEMBER THAT I LOVED EACH MORE THAN THE PREVIOUS GET IT?
Verdict: so much nostalgic cute out of cute.
