Dog Day-Deformer

I’m copying this post from myself.  It fits better here anyway. Now with capitalization!

I always liked how gloomy Dog Day was, so I like how moody and boring this album is.

As for their sound being a bit sparse due to half of their members quitting, I am glad there is no keyboard. Girls should stop playing keyboards asap.

Plus, the most attractive pair are the ones still in the band and yes they’re husband and wife, sigh.

I like the song “Eurozone” because I thought they were singing “cortizone” then when I realized they were actually saying EUROZONE I was like THAT IS FUCKING WEIRD WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN I LOVE THAT?!

I like the song “Somebody” because the lame, boring guitar reminds me of something I used to like, like maybe Neutral Milk Hotel. No that’s wrong. I dunno guys. Maybe it’s just a catchy riff.  Maybe I have a soft spot for acoustic sing-a-long campfire songs? (I typed “campire”…campfire vampire!!)…no I dont have that. Maybe it just sounds a bit less depressing than the rest and I *gasp* was into it for a second. Over it now though. My favourite song is “In the Woods”.

Therefore, despite (in spite of?) the grid’s rating of 6.0 i give it a 7.5. CONTROVERSIAL.
