I actually hate a good riddle.  If the answer is not immediate I get frustrated and very upset.  Why create an imaginary problem to solve when there are so many REAL problems to solve (ie apartheid)? I realize I’m missing the point but to figure out the point is to engage a riddle.

What I like are unsolved mysteries.  No one expects you to solve an unsolved mystery, but rather sit around and hypothesize about it with your chums or read forums about them when you can’t sleep.

A good unsolved mystery has several components.  For instance what is the NWO and what are its’ connections to the Denver Airport ?  It leaves more room for speculation you see.

So it was very intriguing when I stumbled on the mystery of the popcorn found in the popcorn machine in Honest Ed’s Antique Section.  This mystery has several components:

1) Why is there a bunch of mouldy old popcorn in an antique? It’s disgusting. Why wouldn’t someone think to throw it out? Bad business-ship
2) Why is this mouldy old popcorn machine in the weird glass cylinder mounted on top of the machine?
3) Why does Honest Ed’s have an antique section?

None of these things make sense, yet they exist.  A riddle relies on logic to be solved, an unsolved mystery relies on some weird truth you will probably never know and doesn’t make any sense.  Just like life.

WAIT, it’s review time:

AHEM

Although the The Mystery of the Popcorn Found in the Popcorn Machine in Honest Ed’s Antiques Section is a real life unsolved mystery it lacks the grandeur and sense of dread of more famous unsolved mysteries.  After all, it’s just a bunch of mouldy old popcorn in an old popcorn machine, as opposed to a bunch of feet in a river or the weird fact that almost all of the world leaders have double eyelids.

That said, it is an unsolved mystery that was personally discovered by me and my boy Mike and the Pop-corn is really NASTY SOOOOO….
